THE SECRET IS OUT...BRIDESMAID'S HIGH TEA

We were invited for High Tea recently at a delightful new venue...The Tea Salon....not only were the delicious teas & sweets so decadent & filling that we needed to take a few home but if we had a few more hours to spare we would have definitely booked an appointment with Stylist, Kash O'Hara.

That's right ladies the best kept secret is out.....don't spend every weekend visiting every suburb in Sydney trying to find the perfect bridesmaid dresses for your wedding day...Book a Bridesmaid's High Tea with Kash and your nearest and dearest will be in Bridesmaid heaven.

After a 30minute fashion consultation over your delicious treats Kash will spend another 30minutes on a power shop to introduce you to the very best of what the Level 4 Westfield Designers Gallery has to offer. With exclusive discounts available at both Australian & International Designers and a pre planning online interview to ensure the very best styles/colours & budgets are found, Kash will short cut your search for the perfect dresses and make the experience something truly special.

Having spent many years styling the likes of Rachael Finch, Jackie O and Dannii Minogue she knows what will accentuate your girls best features & what will assist with accessories and budget. Best of all she is honest which is always a refreshing approach when you are planning a wedding.

These are some of the treats we sampled when we visited above which included Lemon, Pistachio and Currant Scones, Afternoon Tea Ribbon Sandwiches and assorted sweets. My personal favourite were the Mini Rose Pannacotta with Pink Persian Fairy Floss. The Turkish Apple Herbal tea was also divine.

Thank you for inviting us to share in your truly special new venue and to all the team - Jill, Angela and Kash we will be sure to return for a visit any time we are in the area. You may just need to hide the Pannacotta treats x

HAPPY SUMMER DAYS

We loved covering the elegant wedding for Kitty & Christian on Sydney Harbour recently. An elegant marquee on Bennelong Point and reception at Zest, The Spit was perfect for this international couple to celebrate with family & friends. Here are some of our favourite pics...thank you for choosing SugarLove to cover your day - it was the perfect event to share and celebrate the last day of spring here in Sydney before summer officially arrives tomorrow x

SOPHIA'S STYLISH KITCHEN TEA

Seems like this spring we have been covering a lot more events outside traditional weddings and one that we LOVED being a part of was this gorgeous kitchen tea organized by Fiona Deans-Dundas of Couture Wedding Planning for client Sophia Mantsis.

Her special day took place at Simmer on the Bay on Hickson Road in Sydney's historic rocks region and with her 50 very special family & friends she celebrated an elegant high tea with the most divine candy bar we have ever seen. What a lovely way to enjoy some quality time with your nearest & dearest as a single girl. Thank you for inviting us to be a part of your day Sophia x

On the 19th of October we covered Sophia's wedding to her sweetheart Chad. We look forward to sharing those shots on the blog sometime in the future. Best wishes to you both...xx

SugarLove Favourites (2007-2010)

One of the loveliest things about editing our wedding photography is choosing the annual favourites for our website and blog. Over the next few weeks we will be re-visiting these online. Today we have the 2007-2010 series to share. One of the things that becomes obvious looking over such a large series of images is how very different each and every one of our weddings is captured. We pride ourselves in documenting beauty & originality without re-creating the same shot and this is a rare thing in an industry where imitation is so easy to find.

To all of our couples, industry colleagues and super talented SugarLove photographers thank you for being a part of each and every one of these moments. There are some great memories here and ultimately all showcase the relaxed, elegant and natural style that has become iconically "SugarLove" x
